China and Nepal agree on increasing their military cooperation

China and Nepal have agreed to increase their military cooperation. This agreement was made in a meeting between Chinese State Councilor and National Defense Minister Wei Fenghey and Nepali Chief of the Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri.

Beijing is acclaimed by Kathmandu’s strong support for China’s major interests.”

He stressed that China and Nepal’s forces should implement the agreement made between the leaders of both the countries, to promote practical cooperation, to strengthen the traditional friendship and to build a community of shared future for humanity, And should contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative.

Chhetri thanked China for giving support and assistance to Nepalese Army, and said Nepal is keen to expand exchange and cooperation with China in different areas. 

Chhetri said that Nepal strongly supports a China policy and will not allow any force to use its soil for anti-China activities.
