Maldives again gave India a shock, closely connected with China, after Pakistan joined hands

Maldives, having a non-cooperative attitude on already many issues with India, has now made an agreement with Pakistan. After the closure of the Abdullah Yemen government of Maldives with China already, the growing closer to Pakistan has alerted India.

New Delhi: Where the Maldives is close to China, where India has already suffered a headache, its growing neighbor from Pakistan can become a separate victim of trouble for New Delhi. Maldives, who already shook India on the issue of helicopter and work permit, has now made an agreement with Pakistan in the field of electricity, which has alerted India.

Officials of the government power company of Stalco, Maldives had visited Pakistan last week and made an agreement about ‘Capacity building’ in the field of electricity. The Maldives’s agreement with Pakistan is also special because it has been done at a time when Mali is constantly indulging in indignation with India.

Maldives has stopped issuing work permit for Indians in the past, due to which the work of those projects is affecting, in which India has a partnership. He did not accept India’s proposal for deploying the Dornier Surveillance aircraft here and asked to take one of the two naval helicopters back.

Maldives refused to accept India’s ‘gift’, helicopter

Maldives has made this agreement with Pakistan at that time, while many of Stellco’s projects are already being operated by Chinese companies. Apart from this, Pakistan is not financially in a position to offer any help to the Maldives. What else can this be achieved with this agreement?

Actually, Maldivian President Abdullah Yameen has already been inclined towards China and is believed to not want any kind of involvement of India in his country. The issues related to the work permit, the Dornier Surveillance aircraft and the naval helicopter are being linked with this.

Pakistan is being told a reason why India’s proposal to deploy the Dornier Survillance aircraft in the Maldives is not accepted by the Yameen Government. According to sources, Pakistan offered to provide similar aircraft to it, after which he withdrew his steps on India’s proposal in this regard.
